OUR CARE OFFER
The Day Care Center Stiftung Tagesheime Allschwil has three day care centers at Baslerstrasse, Bruckerhaus and Langmatten, which offer a total of 113 day care places for children from 3 months to the end of primary school, In all three locations we take care of the children in mixed-age groups. At Baslerstrasse we exclusively take care of schoolchildren and are therefore optimally geared to the needs of children of this age, and to the changing care which parents need in order to combine family and professional life.
With the offered care modules we aim to fulfil the effective needs of the parents, when caring for their children. In order to achieve the necessary continuity for the children in the group, the booked days and times are binding. If possible, we are also happy to offer parents, solutions and support in time of special need and in emergency situations.
The motivated, caring and professional team, consisting of fully qualified staff, apprentices, trainees and those doing Swiss national service within the community, ensures that the children entrusted to us can be offered a varied and stimulating daily life. We spend part of the day outside the day-care center and offer the children a variety of impressions and learning experiences, with smaller and larger excursions. In addition to the planned and guided activities in the group and the associated learning experiences for the children ensuring that the children have time to play for themselves also plays an important role. The daily routine is clearly structured and geared to the needs of the children. We focus on the child with his or her wishes and needs. Rituals have an important status, so that the children obtain the necessary orientation, and help to facilitate their transitions into daily life.
In order for us to be able to achieve our goals of high-quality pedagogical work, a minimum occupancy rate of 40% is a prerequisite for the care of your child in the mixed-age groups. There is no minimum occupancy for the student group Galileo.

MAIN FOCUS OF OUR WORK
Children from 3 months to 13 years are entitled for our care. Priority is given to children whose parents are resident or working in Allschwil. Condition for a place in one of our mixed age groups is a minimum occupancy of a total of two full days per week (40%).

Focus on the child
The Day Care Stiftung Tagesheime Allschwil has the main task of child day care for children between three months and 13 years. The needs and development of the children are at the main focus of our work.
Diversity
We use the diversity of cultures in our day care center as an opportunity for further development and broadening our horizons. Integration is part of our everyday life. Ths is backed up by competent employees who undergo regular further training and education.
Development
We reinforce the strengths and use the potential of the individual child for optimal development. Rituals have an importance in our daily routine. We see the development of indepence as a central task of education, including characteristics such as continuity, reliability, consistency and stability.
Free Time
We aim to always make the most of the diverse opportunities life offers to us. This can be in the nature or simply in our daily routines. This also includes the development of creativity with activities as handicrafts, painting, singing, playing, etc.
Nutrition
Balanced nutrition - daily healthy, child-friendly and freshly prepared meals. We cook baby food and apple sauce ourselves, without any additives.

Day Care Center Baslerstrasse
33 places in three groups for children from 3 months to 13 years.
11 places for lunch and afternoon supervision in the student group and 10 additional places for lunch (12.00 - 14.00).
Day Care Center Bruckerhaus
33 places in three groups for children from 3 months to 13 years.
Day Care Center Langmatten
36 places in three groups for children from 3 months to 13 years.
